If you are getting into playing the banjo... get it and learn it from Ross!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpfulI decided I wanted to try and learn some bluegrass banjo. Cold I googled around and found Ross' website...thank goodness I did. I had questions: called in and Ross himself called me back promptly...he walked me thru and helped me figure out some of the "extras" which would allow me to use my "beginner" Gold Tone CC-100RW for years to come w/out having to modify/upsell (for ex, getting the planetary tuning pegs up front). I also customized some portions of this beginner kit which Ross made happen with no questions asked, even making sure I took advantage of an existing discount on his Platinum lifetime membership he had elsewhere on his website. I really feel Ross gave me a great deal...when the banjo got to my house I took it out and could play it right out of the box as well.
I'm just a month or so into learning from Ross' instruction materials and I'm only memorizing my 2nd roll but I'm loving it. Thanks Ross!
