The Recording King Vintage Deluxe Hard Shell Banjo Case for Bluegrass Resonator Banjos, CG-044k-J made by Guardian Cases is the best banjo case out there and for the best price. The banjo fits in really tight. The banjo fitting tight into the hard shell case is what protects a banjo most. They also have an extra padding for the head stock and the handle is balanced in the perfect place for carrying.
These are the same cases that come with the Recording King Elite 75 and Elite 76 banjos
I've switched all my personal banjos to this case, even for my vintage Gibson banjos. The comfortable handle is placed perfectly for even balance of gravity and the tight fit of the banjo inside the case is key.
It features a black tolex covering with a strong arched top, a plush velvet interior, six locking mechanisms, an accessory compartment and more.
From the heavy-duty arched top to the crushed velvet interior, this hard shell case is vintage in every detail.

Great Case!!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpfulI have had this case for a few weeks, and it fits my Recording King banjo perfectly. It looks great and my friends were impressed too. It is a tight fit as described but the bridge is under no pressure. I tested the bridge contact with a thin piece of paper when closed to see if it would leave an impression and it did not. Also the two removable head cushions which attach with Velcro can be positioned to minimize contact with the planetary tuners so that the banjo is in tune when I take it out of the case, I also looked this product up on every web site I could find and Banjoteacher.com had the best price of anyone. Two thumbs up!!
