This Curly Maple armrest is more comfortable than metal, fits all hook spacings up to 2 3/8" and adds style to your banjo!

These new curly maple wood banjo armrests made by Gold Tone are shaped just like traditional banjo armrests but they are more comfortable, look fantastic and wont tarnish. Normal Chrome, or Nickel armrests can tarnish within a week for many people. The interaction between the normal skin of your forearm and a metal armrest will tarnish very quickly. The wood armrests are warm to the touch, add class to the look of your banjo and will last forever.

The contrast of the wood and the nickel hardware on the banjo really compliment each other and everything about the wood armrests is sensible to me.

Banjo armrests made out of wood is a great concept. Now Gold Tone is offering a wood armrest with the exact design of a traditional armrest and fits all hook spacing's up to 2 and 3/8"

I've got one of these and its a great alternative to the scuffed up looking nickel armrests and cold steel feel you get from most armrests. They really add a touch of class to your banjo too. Ross Nickerson

This armrest will fit 30 bracket "bottle cap" aluminum pot banjos that you can count 30 head tightening brackets on. This is a common design of lower priced beginner banjos for over 40 years. Two good examples of banjos with the 30 bracket aluminum pot banjo design are the Fender FB54 or the Washburn B9. But over the years there were many different names stamped on the same 30 bracket banjo aluminum pot design.

This armrest will not fit banjos that have FLAT brackets for tightening the head. 
Some lower cost banjos like the Washburn B7-A, Savannah SB-100 use flat head tightening hooks instead of the more common round hooks. Flat Hooks have a flat area just under the hook and then become round at the bottom so the nut will screw on them. The reason these armrests are called "Fits All" is because they fit any AMOUNT of brackets. not just traditional 24 bracket banjos like Gibson Mastertones. But most banjos have round hooks, not flat hooks.
So, these armrests fit all bracket spacing as long as the banjo has "round hooks".

Does this armrest fit Deering Goodtime Banjos?
No they do not.
Because Deering Good Time and Good Time Artisan banjos use flat hooks instead of round hooks.

The Fit's All armrests are for banjos with 11 inch rims, round head brackets and 16 to 24 head brackets. 11 inch rims with an 11 inch banjo head are the most common size on banjos. You would have to have an antique or unique banjo for it to be a different than standard 11 inch size.

Super Nice Wooden Armrest

Made by Gold Tone, this is a quality wooden armrest. The connecting hardware is screwed into the wood with nice Phillips head screws, not cheap rivets. The workmanship of the wood is top notch. Very pleased with this item, and wished it was available years ago.
