BanjoMate Thinline Armrest
This well made adjustable banjo armrest fits any banjo no matter how many head brackets! The Banjomate Thinline banjo armrest is specially designed to custom fit old time open back banjos of all sizes, works great on bluegrass banjos with resonator's and fits any banjo with hook style mounted heads. It also fits and makes a comfortable wood banjo armrest for Deering Goodtime banjos.
This is perfect for old time open back banjos that have different distances between the brackets. Also perfect for bluegrass or resonator banjos that are unique and don't have the standard 24 bracket spacing. Of course they work great on normal spacing but this is the only one that I know of that adjusts to fit any bracket spacing. Ross Nickerson
Unique mounting system utilizes dovetail track with plated mounting pins.
Nickel plated pins (standard) are designed to attach to Banjo's hooks, regardless of spacing.

He chooses it for tone. The way it attaches does not touch or block the head and there is less tension on the head brackets than on traditional armrests which can affect the tone too. See a video below.
