ES Banjitar Guitar Banjo from Gold Tone
The Gold Tone ES Banjitar is an electric 6-string banjo
with pickups and a solid body. This Tele style 6-sting banjo delivers authentic banjo tone and won't feed back. The ES Banjitar is just like the Gold Tone EBT 5 string electric banjo but with a six string guitar neck.
The solid body 6 string features an 8 inch banjo head with an eight inch cavity and a banjo tone ring. The hollow sound chamber produces the banjo tone but is small enough to not cause feedback.
The ES Banjitar, like a normal banjo, has extremely fast response compared to a regular electric. Hammer-os, pull-offs, and slides are accomplished with incredible ease. Even unplugged, the ES has excellent banjo tone because of the hollowed out sound chamber within the body.
This instrument is great for country music or any style where banjo tone is desired.

Ross, I played the Gold Tone EBM at a solo gig last night for the first time. AMAZING!!!! It has already changed the way I play...allowing much more subtlety as well as an interesting access to some serious POWER! And I'm not nailed to the microphone when playing it. Had a chance to use a couple of effects and can't wait for the next full band show to really crank it. And the audience was into it too. More to come...I'll send ya a vid when I get a good one.
