Open Back Old Time Clawhammer Banjo
The Recording King RK-OT25 5-string open back old time beginner clawhammer banjo that has authentic old timey banjo tone and is an easy to learn banjo on.
These OT 25's are seriously a cut above other Old Time Open back clawhammer style banjos in the same price range. They use the same hardware, tuning pegs, rim wood and resonator as the much more expensive RK-R25, RK-R35 and RK-R36. The neck is scooped and the rim is tall like an authentic Old Time Banjo unlike any of the other old time banjos in this price range. I highly recommend this model for tone, quality, old time features and overall value for the price without a doubt.

Product Description The Recording King Madison banjos offer players an unparalleled combination of quality, versatility and value. With a hand-rubbed satin finish, a maple neck with adjustable truss rod and a true steam-bent maple rim, the Madison starts with a great foundation for a serious banjo. The RK-OT25 is an old-time picking machine, with a steam-bent maple rim, 24-bracket tension hoop, and the clean look of all of our Madison banjos. We've built this banjo specifically for old-time players, with features like our scooped fretboard, Presto tailpiece and old-style Remo FiberSkyn head.
