The demo video on this page I am playing the RK 75. The 75 and 76 are exactly the same banjo. The only difference is the RK R76 has the scrolled writing on the peghead and hearts and flowers inlay, same as Earl Scruggs's Gibson Mastertone. The RK 75 is a replica of the old Gibson Flying Eagle Inlay Pattern and has the Recording King written in a block on the Peghead.

Modeled after the original Mastertone banjos of the 1930's, the Recording King RK-Elite offers players vintage sound and handcrafted construction. Professional components like a classic Mastertone-style tone ring, true steam-bent 3-ply maple rim and nitrocellulose lacquer finish put this banjo in a category by itself. Great Banjo, Great Company

The only banjos I could find resembled something of a Playschool toy banjo. The RK 76 is a top shelf banjo. Ross Nickerson allayed my fears and I’m glad I went with this choice. Top notch sound and top notch construction make Recording King the top quality instrument in this price range.

I received the RK76 I had ordered, today. It came in perfect condition, it was even in tune right out of the box. I must say it was even more beautiful than I expected. The inlay is spectacular. The woodgrain on the resonater is very rich and velvety. The cosmetics aside, the tone is amazing. The action is great all the way up the neck. I wanted to thank you for the personal attention, including a phone call to resolve a problem with my original order. The upgrade is really worth the money and I couldn't be happier with this banjo. Your advice was invaluable. Now I get to spend our next few months of captivity learning to play. Great way to spend the time. Thanks.

Thank you for the time you spent with me on the phone also. As a result I have the banjo I wanted, set up the way I wanted it !
My banjo arrived in Excellant condition And after tuning it was completely playable right out the case. I have had it almost 2 weeks now and as it settles it sound better and better to me everyday.
The experience of buying from Banjo Teacher.com was also Excellant I was keep informed by email as to when it shipped etc.
