A leather banjo strap that attaches with a button post and has a safety catch as well.
Also a new design banjo strap for banjos with a smaller space between the brackets

Finally a leather banjo strap that fits the banjos that use a very common banjo design that uses individual shoe and bracket for each head tightening bracket. These banjos include the lighter weight less expensive beginner banjos with or without resonators and all open back old time style banjos. The strap fits these banjos that only have a smaller space for the strap to fit though.There as many or more of these types of banjos out there with very few options for high quality leather straps. Almost all straps especially the nice ones are designed for the the heavy bluegrass banjos with a flathead tone ring and that use a one piece flange to tighten the head brackets against which makes it possible for the larger space to fit the strap through.

With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.

Some Button Post Banjo Strap Tips
How to attach. Slide the keeper up away from button post - pull leather tab off of button post - put leather tab around bracket - push leather tab back over button post and slide keeper back down next to button post.
The holes in the leather for the button posts are tight at first but are just right once broken in.

The design of the “quick connect” to your banjo is really convenient! Takes less than 30 seconds to remove the strap with no hardware to deal with. There are no concerns as to the ability of this strap to support your banjo. A quality product!
