Every 5-string player needs a Dojo. Incredible sustain and pleasing tone make Dojos great alternative instruments. These instruments are similar in sound to resonator guitars, but have banjo tuning. For additional sound styles, try using a slide. Dojos are a lot lighter than banjos and also make great practice instruments.
The original Dojo has great string action and a lively sustain. The mahogany body provides a crisp tone and is a welcome addition to the 5 string players arsenal. Mahogany body, biscuit-style design, decorative body binding, unique body style, incredible sustain, straightline tailpiece.
With a standard 5-string banjo neck and a dobro body the Dojo is a beautiful instrument with exquisite tone and sustain that you won't find in a standard 5-string banjo.

Hi Ross! Do you remember, I'm the guy from Austria who bought a Dojo this summer. Great instrument and I'm very happy with it! I also enjoy the membership and learned to play "lonesome road blues". What a nice song! Few days ago I listened to your version of "I'll fly away". Wow! I know two or three different versions but yours sounds best.
I am thrilled. It is beautiful.
