Disappointed in Silver Snark Tuner for five string banjo
0 of 0 people found the following review helpfulI ordered a Silver Snark for tuning my 5 string banjo. I've had the the ST2 for a few years and love it. I bought the Silver Snark because they fixed the problem of the ball and socket plastic breaking from wear over time on the ST2. The Silver Snark doesn't seem ready for prime time. I returned the first one I received because it was not accurate. The replacement that I just recently got is no better. The Snark displays different notes each time I pluck the same string on the replacement too. When I completed a tuning with the Silver Snark, I checked it with my old ST2...... two strings were way off and the banjo was completely out of tune. I like Snark products......just not this one!!
