The Guardian CG-500-J 5-string is a heavy duty deluxe Banjo Gig Bag sized for a Bluegrass Resonator Banjo and is the best banjo gig bag we carry. They are heavy duty, heavy padded, very durable and look good too.
I love this bag, I ordered one for myself and I like everything about it. In the picture I took, the shape of the bag looks a bit like a guitar bag but it fits a resonator banjo perfect, and is smaller than a guitar bag. It's well padded, has plenty of accessory compartments and the bag stands up on its own when the banjo isn't in it. The zipper on the bottom stops before it fully opens which protects the banjo from falling out, or the case collapsing. It's the first bag I have ever seen that does that and believe me that's a clever feature and smart thinking by the designer.
The Guardian CG-500-J 5-string Banjo Gig Bag has shoulder straps making it easy to carry a heavy bluegrass banjo while still giving it plenty of protection. These bags are great for using at Banjo Camps, Bluegrass Festivals or taking the banjo on a trip.
The 500 series Guardian gig bags combine a tough DuraGuard exterior with dense, 18mm soft foam padding and a non-scratch black interior inside for reliable protection of your instrument. The hook-and-loop neck support allows players to secure the guitar neck inside the bag for an additional level of security.
If you have a gig bag, that means you’re going places, so Guardian provides a pillow-soft comfort handle to make grabbing your guitar quick and easy. The dual backpack straps with airflow back & shoulder pads help you stay cool while you head to your flight or roll up to soundcheck.
