Sturdy support in all directions: back, forward, left and right.
Supports the banjo with no weight on the resonator. A perfect stand would cradle the bluegrass banjo on the sturdiest component or the body. Our BBS cradles the banjo body.. with no chance of the selected cushioning materials marring the finish.
Although I designed for resonator banjos it also works great on 11' and 12" open backs
Lightweight and compactable. folds completely and is easily carried.
Looks very cool...Hard rock maple wood (clear finish) with black metal supports.
Stays put on the ground when you lift your banjo. I've always been a fan of the "hanger" Hamilton stand for banjos, but resented the stand lifting with the banjo upon removal

I purchased this stand for my acoustic guitar. It works perfectly for my acoustic guitar AND for my wife's banjo, so i ordered a second one. It looks great, is adjustable, stable and comes with the allen wrench. I actually purchased this one as a gift for my brother. I was very impressed with it and think I will purchase one for myself as well. It supports the banjo well and is really cool and modern looking while still looking classic. Definitely a great product and excellent price, highly recommended, like it more than my full frame metal ones that actually seem a bit shabby to me now compared to this one! I have other stands but this one is the nicest I've ever had. It works well and is very sturdy. Looks great too! I will buy more for my electrics.
