Russ Carson Blue Chip Pick for Banjo - BCT-BR
Inspired by Russ Carson, banjo player for Ricky Skaggs this thumbpick is the same one he uses. It is constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a talon shaped BlueChip pick.
The Blue Chip Russ Carson Model thumb pick fits tight, are super comfortable, have great tone and with the way they are made should last forever.
These picks are named BCT-BR in memory of Byron Robbins. Byron was a close personal friend of BlueChip's owner Matthew Goins and an avid banjo player who lost his battle with cancer in 2018. We are proud to be able to have this small opportunity to honor him.
These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create the best thumb pick available.
The Blue Chip Banjo picks are amazing. If you get one I can almost guarantee you wont want to use anything else ever again and they are definitely worth the money. Keep in mind how much you use your thumb when you play banjo. I know they are expensive but only if you lose it. I used to be careless with thumb picks when I used cheap ones but it's funny how $40.00 makes you careful and I have only lost one in four years.
